Nature is part of my everyday life and it is there that the inspiration to paint is found. Surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and waters of Maine, I have been recording these landscapes by painting them on ceramic tile to bring functional art into the home. Customers often provide photos from which custom tile murals are created. I balance mediums by painting with oil and pastel, combining realism with impressionism.
